BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -
Baton Rouge Police say a man has been killed in an early morning traffic accident.
The accident happened in the 12100 block of Scotland Avenue just after 4:00 a.m. Saturday morning car. Baton Rouge Police Department says a car pulled from a
private driveway into the path of the motorcycle. The two collided and caused fatal injuries to the motorcyclist.
The victim and driver of the motorcycle was 31-year-old Edward James Poole Mims.
The driver of the other vehicle was 39-year-old Lendell Williams.
When officers arrived they found the wrecked motorcycle and Mims dead on the scene.
Alcohol is a
suspected factor in the crash. No arrests have been made in this case
