The mystery continues over who put needles in sandwiches on four different Delta flights last summer. Business class travelers found the needles in turkey sandwiches.
All of the flights originated in Amsterdam and were bound for Atlanta, Minneapolis, and Seattle.
But even after authorities in Amsterdam spent six months investigating, including looking at security camera footage and interviewing employees who delivered the sandwiches, they were unable to come up with a suspect, reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Delta puts the responsibility for the incidents on its caterer, Gate Gourmet. The paper reports Gate Gourmet says it has adjusted its protocols and continues to work closely with regulators.
