Mardi Gras tips from an Oscar winner

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

With just hours to go  before the parades start rolling' again, Oscar winner Brandon Oldenburg offers up the perfect parade tips to KSLA News 12's Doug Warner.

Brandon, along with fellow Moonbot Studios' Oscar winner Bill Joyce, are Grand Marshals for the upcoming Krewe of Centaur parade.

Since winning the Oscar for "The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore," Brandon and Bill have been 'paraded' around the city for months now.  So Doug figured there was no better place to go for help.  Doug is the Grand Marshal of Saturdays Fasching Mardi Gras parade in Minden.

It's a little tongue and cheek fun from the back of a convertible outside of Moonbot Studios in Shreveport.  Click on the video and enjoy.

Minden's Fasching Parade is Saturday at 5:30 in downtown Minden.
