A small earthquake rattled homes and shook nerves in the heart of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex Tuesday night.
The quake, occurring about 10 miles beneath the surface, was centered about 5 miles northwest of Irving, 5 miles southeast of Coppell.
KSLA affiliates in the area report that there has been no report of the quake affecting operations at the airport, located roughly one mile from the epicenter.
