BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -
The car believed to be used in the robbery of a Brusly pharmacy has been found in Baton Rouge.
Brusly Police Chief Jamie Whaley says the vehicle was found behind an apartment complex.
The car is being taken to the State Police Crime Lab.
Police are still looking for Jacqueline Hawkins.
According to reports, Hawkins' boyfriend, Ray Charles Hayes, 50, robbed Noah's Pharmacy, then took a hostage at gunpoint as he left the store.
Police say Hayes and the hostage led authorities on a chase down LA 1 in an Addis Police unit. The chase ended when the police car hit another vehicle and flipped.
Hayes was shot and killed after threatening to kill himself and the hostage.
The hostage survived the ordeal.
If you know where Hawkins is, call Crime Stoppers at 344-STOP.
