The names of two people involved in a fatal accident in Van Zandt County have been released.
Department
of Public Safety Troopers said the crash happened shortly before noon
Monday and involved a car and an 18-wheeler hauling a mobile home.
William Ray Farmer, 65, of San Antonio, was killed when his vehicle, heading north on Highway 19 in Canton, crossed into the southbound lane and struck the 18-wheeler. A passenger, Yasuko Farmer, 67, also of San Antonio, was transported to ETMC in Tyler and is stable.
Both occupants were wearing their seat belts at the time of the collision.
