BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -
About one hour after the initial crash, all lanes of Burbank have been reopened to traffic after a truck crashed into a building and ruptured a gas line.
The crash happened around 3:30 p.m. Monday at 9402 Burbank, at the corner of Burbank and Seabord, at the Wing Snack restaurant. A gas meter was hit causing a natural gas leak. The gas leak was stopped around 4:30 p.m.
St. George Fire Department and Baton Rouge Hazmat were called to the scene.
Minor injuries have been reported. There is no word on what caused the crash or who was involved.
