SCOTTSDALE, AZ (CBS5) -

A record-breaking crowd watched as Barrett-Jackson Auction Co. smashed attendance records and established two world records at its annual auto auction in Scottsdale.

Final figures released by Barrett-Jackson on Monday morning showed the auction sold 1,343 cars, including the original Batmobile, for $108,766,069 in gross sales, a 17 percent increase over 2012.

A record 310,000 people attended the week-long events at Westworld, a 15 percent increase over a year ago.

World records were set for a 1947 Talbot-Lago T-26 Grand Sport, which went for $2,035,000, and a 1956 Chrysler Diablo Concept Convertible, which sold for $1,375,000.

Charity was also a big winner as 21 vehicles raked in more than $5 million for various causes.
