BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -
An elderly
woman who was badly hurt in a crash Thursday afternoon has died from her
injuries.
The Baton
Rouge Police Department said Gladys Sonntag, 90, of Baton Rouge died Thursday
evening.
The wreck
happened in the 11000 block of Coursey Boulevard around 1:30 p.m.
Investigators
said Sonntag was trying to make a left turn from Coursey onto American Way when
another car headed in the opposite direction on Coursey slammed into her.
They added
the impact of the crash pushed Sonntag's Toyota Camry into an SUV that was
stopped at the intersection.
The drivers
of the other vehicles suffered minor to moderate injuries.
Gladys Sonntag, 90, was driving the white Toyota Camry. She died in the crash.
