COLUMBIA, SC (WIS/KSLA) -
Three people with Shreveport ties are missing after a trip to South Carolina for a funeral earlier this month.
48-year-old Brady Brown, his uncle, 67-year-old Eddie Lee Cobb, Jr., and 51-year-old family friend Ella Williams attended a funeral in Columbia, SC on January 4.
Police say all three left Columbia on January 7 in a 2006 beige or gold Dodge Stratus with paper tags. They were planning on taking Interstate 20 west to Shreveport.
Relatives say they never arrived in Shreveport and haven't heard from them since. Police say repeated calls made by family members go straight to voice mail.
The last known communication is believed to have been made from a cell phone belonging to one of the three near Birmingham, Alabama on January 7.
Investigators have received information that Williams may be in need of medications.
Columbia Police have contacted law enforcement agencies in Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi.
If you recognize any of them, or the car they may have been driving, or if you have any information that can help investigators, call Crimestoppers at 1-888-Crime-SC.
