Baton Rouge man killed after hitting bulldozer

ST. HELENA PARISH, LA (WAFB) -

A Baton Rouge man was killed early Thursday morning on LA 16 near the St. Helena-Tangipahoa Parish line.

State Police say David Fontenot Jr., 33, was driving east when his SUV drifted off the road, spun and hit a parked bulldozer.

Fontenot was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Impairment is unknown at this time.
