Back in the old days, if you really wanted something bad enough but your parents said no...you either went without or saved up your allowance until you could afford your heart's desire.
Nowadays, kids have another option: Facebook.
Several months ago one family lost their dog to cancer. Ever since, two of the sisters in that family have been wanting a puppy.
Mom and dad were reluctant.
But Tuesday, Dad offered the girls a deal. You get one million "likes" on Facebook, you can have a puppy.
The girls took dad seriouslystarted a Facebook page... and what do you know?
13 hours later they had one million likes... and a puppy on the way.
