Pedestrian struck on Mulberry St. exit of I-85, now re-opened

A pedestrian and a parked vehicle were apparently stuck by another vehicle on the Mulberry Street exit of I-85 southbound this morning.

The incident occurred at around 8:00 a.m. and the exit was closed for 2 hours as a result, but has now been re-opened.

Montgomery Police and Fire Medics responded to the scene. The pedestrian was transported to the Jackson Hospital ER and was originally listed in life threatening condition but has now been downgraded to non-life threatening.
