SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -
A Shreveport dog owner says her dogs were intentionally poisoned, and now she is looking for the dog's killer.
Margaret Badgley says her two dogs were poisoned on Monday after playing in the backyard of her home in the 100 block of Leo Avenue.
"Have you given them hamburger meat?" A question Badgley says the vet asked her after she rushed them to an emergency clinic.
Veterinarian Dr. Randee Monceaux says the dogs were poisoned with hamburger meat possibly laced with anti-freeze and rat poison, killing one of the pets.
"That is frightening, and more than anything disheartening," says neighbor Saheba Dehenre.
The Badgley family is offering a reward for any information leading to the arrest of Louie's Killer. You can call (318) 865-7212 with any information.
