COVINGTON, KY (FOX19) -

Another meeting over the $2.7 billion Brent Spence Bridge project was held on Thursday.

If tolls are used to help fund the new Brent Spence Bridge project, there wouldn't be any physical toll booths. Instead, transponders would be used.

Officials discussed discounts for drivers of for local trips, with rates mentioned anywhere from $1 to $5.

Covington leaders said they are waiting for results of a private study to decide if they are for or against a toll on the bridge.

Ohio Governor John Kasich revealed he is in favor of them.
