CENTER, TX (KTRE) -
Center Police have charged a Denton man accused of making sexual advances on a teenager's Facebook page and then threatening to kill and eat her and kill her friends.
William Themis, 24, is charged with terroristic threat and online solicitation of a minor.
Det. Joey Haley said he has been investigating the case for a few months and the case began when Themis posted messages on a 16-year-old girl's Facebook page, making sexual advances.
Haley said the posts escalated and Themis posted more than 300 messages on the girl's Facebook page and began threatening to kill and eat her.
"One guy came to her defense on the page and Themis threatened to kill him," Haley said.
Haley said Themis has since moved to Denton and Denton Police picked Themis up on the warrants last week.
Haley said he believes Themis has posted similar messages on other teenagers' Facebook pages and would like for any other victims to contact Center Police about any other crimes.
Haley said the FBI had been investigating Themis after he posted on his Facebook page about going down to Center and shooting people at the Watermelon Festival.
