KINGMAN, AZ (CBS5) -
Mohave County Sheriff's authorities are trying to determine the identity of a man who was set on fire Monday morning.
His body was found on the south side of Interstate 40 at DW Ranch Road just after 7 a.m. Deputies said they found him lying face down in the dirt with a gas can located nearby.
The man is described is black and in his mid-20s to mid-30s. He is about 5'9" to 6' tall and weighs about 190 to 210 pounds. The victim's left upper chest has a large cross tattoo and below the tattoo there are words that read "the truth hurts."
The homicide victim was wearing a large stud earring in his left ear. He has black short hair and a short pencil beard and mustache. The pencil beard starts at his sideburns and runs down to his chin.
The man was wearing a blue denim long-sleeved shirt with a large design on the back, black pants and black shiny dress shoes with laces.
Autopsy results are pending and the investigation continues.
