Raycom Media announced Friday night it reached an agreement with COX Cable that allowed WAFB-TV to return to the COX lineup.

COX began airing the WAFB signal again at 9:20pm Friday.

The deal also affects WBXH-TV, Bounce TV, and several Raycom-owned television stations in other states.

WAFB was removed from the COX lineup on January 1st when the old contract between the two companies expired.

"We are thrilled to be back in the COX lineup," said WAFB Vice President and General Manager Sandy Breland. "We have served this community for 60 years and our commitment is as strong as ever. We know this has inconvenienced many of our loyal viewers and advertisers and we truly appreciate your understanding and support," Breland said.
