Avondale police are looking for the person who robbed a Family Dollar on Thursday.
It happened just before 7 p.m. on Reading Road.
Police on scene said a man stole merchandise in the store and assaulted the clerk.
Authorities describe the suspect as a black male in his 40's, around 5'9'' tall and 180 pounds. He was wearing a red hat and brown coat.
He fled the store and is still at large. Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at (513) 352-3040.
