If you are watching us on Cox Cable on Dec. 31, there's a strong possibility you will not be seeing our news on this same channel starting Jan. 1.
As you likely know, our parent company is in contract negotiations with Cox and so far, it has been unable to reach an agreement for Cox to continue carrying WAFB.
The contract expires at midnight. If this station is not available to you Tuesday, we want to remind you that you can still watch our newscasts on Cox Cable Channel 9, which falls under a different agreement.
