We'd like to thank you for taking time out of this busy holiday season to help others. We have generous people here in our area and many of you responded to the call to simply help your fellow neighbors.

From the Salvation Army Angel Tree to the great people over at St. Vincent de Paul and tremendous efforts going on at the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank, there are many places that depend on your support.

If you didn't get a chance to help this holiday season, there is still plenty of time and plenty of need. Many charities receive a lot attention during seasons of giving. But, it's important to remember these groups throughout the year. The people of our community take care of each other.

After hurricanes, after tragedies and when people need it most, it is good to know there is still a terrific spirit alive and well in Louisiana.
