NEWTOWN, OH (FOX19) -
Newtown Police arrest the suspect in a Christmas Day fire.
On Thursday, police asked the public to be on the lookout for Richard A. Timerding.
Timerding, 37, had been charged with Aggravated Arson and Burglary for forcing entry and intentionally setting a fire on Main Street. Timerding was also wanted for a probation violation for previous conviction of arson.
He was located at the Sycamore Hotel in Cincinnati on Thursday afternoon.
Timerding was taken into custody without incident.
Police say a tip from the public led to an investigation into Timerding, who was an occupant of the home.
