Firefighters
in Zachary were called out to a house fire Thursday morning.
Crews
responded to a report of smoke billowing from a home on Plank Road just before
7 a.m.
Firemen
were able to put the fire out, but not before the flames and smoke damaged a
significant portion of the house.
There has
been no word on whether anyone was home at the time.
