Boil advisory lifted in St. Helena Parish

ST. HELENA PARISH, LA (WAFB) -

Officials report a boil water advisory put into effect for a small area of St. Helena Parish has been lifted.

The advisory for Water District #2 customers west of Price Hill Cemetery Loop in the Dennis Mills community ended Thursday morning.

The problem stemmed from a burst water main damaged by lightning during the severe weather on Tuesday.

The water quality has been determined to be safe and customer no longer need to boil it.
