Cox Communications customers across the country have been without email service since Friday.
Cox Television service is not affected by the residential email outage.
The company has been trying to restore email service to its customers into late Sunday evening.
Cox didn't have specific information as to what was causing the problem with email service
The company says they have no indication that security has been breached.
