Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards is asking for your assistance in locating 31-year-old Esteban Delgado Garcia, Hispanic male of Tickfaw. He is wanted for the fatal shooting of Mauricio Hernandez Cornejo which happened Thursday around 4:30 p.m..
According to TPSO officials, Garcia and Cornejo are known enemies and were reported to have a serious physical confrontation prior to the shooting Thursday. Investigators believe the shooting could be retaliation from the prior incident.
Immigration Customs and Enforcement (ICE) agents are assisting us with this investigation.
Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Garcia is asked to contact Crimestoppers at 800-554-5245.
