TICKFAW, LA (WAFB) -
Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Deputies have arrested a woman who is accused of stabbing a 74-year-old man Thursday night around 6 p.m.
Deputies responded to a call regarding a man stabbed in the chest on Galaford Road in Tickfaw, LA. A police report says an argument over money took place between Janice Holifield, 38, of Tickfaw and the man.
During the argument, police say Holifield grabbed a butcher knife and stabbed the man in the chest. She left in a 1992 blue Ford Explorer.
Holifield is charged with attempted second degree murder.
At this time, the victim is reported to be in stable condition.
