Some Cincinnati City Council members made last minute changes to the proposed 2013 budget on Thursday.
City officials are facing a $34 million deficit next year. City Manager Milton Dohoney submitted a proposal, including leasing city parking and cutting Cincinnati Mounted Patrol, in order to fill the deficit.
Among the changes:
Keep the city's mounted patrol
Use $250,000 to support the Cincinnati Health Department's work to lower infant mortality rate.
Allow Cincinnati to continue the effort to have private companies run some of the city's parking facilities.
Council is expected to vote on the 2013 budget on Friday morning at 10 a.m.
