CLIFTON HEIGHTS, OH (FOX19) -
University of Cincinnati students were let off the hook for their parking tickets in exchange for Christmas toys.
The UC Army ROTC program, Toys for Tots and UC Parking Services teamed up and offered amnesty for students, faculty and staff.
The one condition: Violators must deliver a toy(s) equal to the expense of their ticket.
The first annual Toys-for-Tickets campaign kicked off in November. As of Thursday, 32 parking tickets had been dismissed, and 96 toys collected.
The program will provide holiday toys to local children in need.
The parking-ticket-for-toy-exchange program ends on Friday, just in time for finals to wrap up.
