Sheriff's deputies are looking for a man who stole prescription drugs from a pharmaceutical trailer outside a Geismar Walgreens.
Investigators say the thief struck while the driver was inside the pharmacy making a delivery.
A witness says the suspect's truck was a four-door GMC Sierra short bed truck with fender flares, factory rims and tinted windows. The truck has a Louisiana 200th year anniversary license plate with a pelican on the left side of the plate.
A store surveillance camera caught the suspect's truck as he fled.
The suspect was last seen driving down Highway 73, then turning onto Cornerview Road, heading toward Gonzales.
