Southern Board approves hiring of Dawson Odums

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

The Southern Board of Supervisors has unanimously approved Dawson Odums as head coach of the Jaguars football team.

WAFB 9Sports reported yesterday that Athletic Director William Broussard would recommend the hiring of then interim head coach Odums at today's meeting in Baton Rouge.

Odums was not available for comment, he was working hard on recruiting.

The coach was 4-5 this season, after taking over for Stump Mitchell.
