SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

After losing power earlier Wednesday morning, Calvary Baptist Academy reports they will start classes at 10 a.m. The school's principal says their power was restored a little before 9 a.m.

As of 9:00 a.m., over 2,600 SWEPCO customers remain without service because of a tripped circuit breaker. Power in Shreveport's Southern Hills, Linwood Drive and Bert Kouns area of southwest Shreveport have the most people without power at this time.
