CLINTON, LA (WAFB) -

In Clinton, LA, the November race for Mayor came down to two candidates that were separated by one vote. In the runoff election, only 27 votes separated the two candidates.

Lori Ann Bell defeated Don Reason and is the new Mayor of Clinton, LA.

Lori Bell received 379 votes, which was 52 percent. The incumbent Don Reason received 352 votes which is 48 percent.

Most recently, Bell has served as Finance Chair for the Board of Aldermen there. She owns a tax prep business and is going back to school at Capital Area Technical College.
