A 16-year-old who took part in a home invasion in Tucson was sentenced to five years in prison.
The Arizona Daily Star reports that Vicente Valles received the maximum sentence Monday for his earlier guilty plea to armed robbery in the April 2010 home invasion he participated in when he was 13.
Valles was given credit for the more than two years he has served while waiting for his case to be resolved.
Valles' attorney, Mark Resnick, says his client ransacked the house, but didn't attack anyone.
Charges against two other teens were dismissed at the request of prosecutors who said they didn't have enough evidence to go to trial against the pair.
No one else was charged even though authorities believe a fourth person participated in the invasion.
