PHOENIX (CBS5) -
Phoenix police said impairment was the likely cause of man's bizarre behavior that ended in his arrest after he rammed a police vehicle Monday morning.
The man was reportedly getting in and out of his car and throwing at other cars in an apartment parking lot near 38th Avenue and Indian School Road, according to Sgt. Trent Crump of the Phoenix Police Department.
Crump said the suspect tried to flee when officers approached and his silver passenger car struck a car in the parking lot. He then rammed a police vehicle as he tried to leave the complex.
He was eventually stopped at 38th Avenue and Indian School road at a family member's house and arrested, Crump said.
No one was injured and the suspect showed signs if impairment, Crump said.
