FLAGSTAFF, AZ (CBS5) -
A Flagstaff man was seriously injured after two men attacked him with a machete Saturday, police said.
The unidentified victim suffered injuries to his face, head, back and one of his legs, officers said.
According to the victim, he was targeted by the pair because of an earlier confrontation. The victim said the two suspects tracked him down to 1809 North Second St. and began attacking him with the weapon.
The attackers fled the scene. One suspect has been identified as Andrew James Jaurequi, 19, of Flagstaff. He was last seen driving a yellow four-door 1991 Cadillac.
The second suspect has not been positively identified. He is described as a Hispanic man in his 20s. He is between 5'10" to 6' tall. The suspect goes by the name of "Sauce," and could be driving a blue 1990's four-door Cadillac.
The two suspects are to be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information into the location of these two suspects or any information into the assault is asked to contact the Flagstaff Police Department.
