PHOENIX (CBS5) -
Officials with the Arizona Lottery say the winning Powerball jackpot ticket was sold in Fountain Hills.
Officials made the announcement at a news conference on Thursday morning.
The winning ticket was a $10 "Quick Pick" sold at 4 Sons Food Store at 13779 N. Fountain Hills Blvd. in Fountain Hills.
The winner has not yet come forward.
According to the Powerball website, only two tickets matching all five numbers plus the Powerball were sold in the days leading up to Wednesday night's record-setting lottery drawing. One of those was in Arizona; the other was in Missouri.
Those two tickets will split a jackpot of approximately $579 million. It is not yet known if the tickets were bought by individuals or by a group in a "pool" of buyers.
The winning numbers for Wednesday's Powerball drawing were 5, 16, 22, 23, 29 and the Powerball is 6. The odds of winning the jackpot were about 1 in 175,223,510.
The Powerball site reports that in addition to the jackpot ticket, five tickets in Arizona matched the first five numbers for a prize of $1 million each. One of the million dollar tickets was sold in Tucson.
A total of 16 tickets matched four plus the Powerball for $10,000. More than 250,000 other tickets sold in Arizona won prizes of $200 or less.
Powerball sales are held in 42 states, Washington D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Arizona Lottery officials said if you've won, they recommend taking the following steps:

Keep the ticket in a safe place
