SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -
Police are searching for a gunman after a man was shot in North Shreveport Monday morning.
Shreveport police say around 1:45 a.m. they responded to a report of shots being fired at the Raceway gas station in the 3700 block of Hearne Avenue. When they arrived, police found a man shot in his buttocks.
Investigators say the victim was reportedly approached by the gunman who asked if he knew someone. When the victim replied no, the suspect shot him in the buttocks.
The victim was taken to LSU Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect ran away from the scene.
Police say the suspect is described as a black male, tall, thin build wearing khaki pants and a hoodie. If you have any information about this shooting, you should call Shreveport CrimeStoppers at 318-673-7373.
