A Baton
Rouge family is picking up the pieces the day before Thanksgiving after a fire
ripped through their home overnight.
The fire
sparked at a house on Old Hammond Highway near Fountainbleu Drive around
midnight.
The fire
spread to nearby trees and bushes.
Firefighters
worried about it jumping to nearby buildings, but were able to get things under
control before that happened.
