City of Phoenix offices will be closed Thursday, Nov. 22, and Friday, Nov. 23, in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday.
Here's how city services are affected:
Transit: Buses and Dial-a-Ride will operate on Sunday schedules Thursday, Nov. 22, and Friday, Nov. 23. METRO Light Rail will operate on a Sunday schedule on Thursday, Nov. 22, but will return to regular service on Friday, Nov. 23. Express and RAPID buses will not operate.
Solid Waste: Thursday's same-day collection moves to Friday, Nov. 23, and Friday's same-day collection moves to Saturday, Nov. 24.
Transfer Stations: They will be closed both days.
Library: All Phoenix Public Library locations will be closed both days. The normal schedule will resume on Saturday, Nov. 24, and Sunday, Nov. 25, for those branches normally open on Sundays.
Parking meters: They will be free on Thursday, Nov. 22.
