Mom in court after trying to suffocate 4-wk-old son

PAINESVILLE, OH (WOIO) -

Shalondria Hall, 21, was in court Friday, November 16th, to face charges of attempted murder and domestic violence.

She is accused of trying to suffocate her 4-week-old son on Sunday, November 11th.

Hall's bond was set for $500,000.  This is the mom's third domestic violence charge since August of this year.

Five days ago, Painesville police were called to 279 Mentor Ave. for a child abuse complaint.

Cops say Hall had attempted to suffocate her baby with a pillow.  Luckily the child was not injured and the suspect was taken to Tri Point Medical Center.

Hall was arrested Thursday as she was being released from the Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland.
