Smokecignals is a New Orleans-based Electronic Cigarette company that has been in the e-commerce business for approximately two years. A brick and mortar store will be opening on Small Business Saturday.
New Orleans, LA (PRWEB) November 15, 2012
New Orleans finally has a home for electronic cigarette users.
Smokecignals LLC is a New Orleans based electronic cigarette company that has been doing worldwide sales of electronic cigarettes, e-liquid, and accessories for nearly two years, and owner Anthony Kolesa has decided to bring a brick and mortar store to the city.
"The internet is a great place to buy lots of things," Kolesa says, "but something like an electronic cigarette, people should have a chance to see and experience it before making a purchase."
Electronic cigarettes have gained tremendous popularity over the last three years. So much so that tobacco giant Lorillard, the makers of Newport cigarettes went out and bought an electronic cigarette company earlier this year.
Kolesa goes on to say, "There are plenty of places in town now where you can buy an e-cig. Gas stations, drug stores, but these aren't the products that people really want. These tend to be inexpensive, impulse buys from people who have heard about electronic cigarettes, and then are disappointed once they make their purchase. We want to give people the chance to try before they buy."
According to Kolesa most people go through a progression before they find the unit that best serves that person's need. Sometimes spending hundreds of dollars on products that they ultimately won't use.
"We can cut through some of that by giving people a one-on-one consultation."
Smokecignals only uses US-Made nicotine liquid. The liquid is what is heated by the e-cig and is ultimately inhaled as a vapor by the user.
Smokecignals' grand opening is slated for November 24, 2012. The store will be located at 8135 Oleander St. One block from Carrollton and Earhart.
"We hope to be able to educate those who are interested in learning more about electronic cigarettes, and to cater to those who are already using them."
