Guests of the luxury ski lodges in Whistler are treated to gratis treats each afternoon.
(PRWEB) November 15, 2012
Guests staying at the two all-suite Pan Pacific Whistler hotels have something special waiting for them after their day on the slopes.
At the Pan Pacific Whistler Village Centre resort winter cheer is packaged as a daily perk called the Hosted Après Hour. Adult guests are treated to a glass of wine or pint of beer while kids are warmed with hot chocolate and cookies, all in the convivial setting of the poolside Pacific Bistro. The General Manager, Jim Douglas, is often in attendance to share stories about the day, and hear plans of the days to come. The conversation is easy, the setting is welcoming and the spirit of the hour is family-style casual.
For guests staying in the sister hotel, Pan Pacific Whistler Mountainside, winter cheer is delivered to the suites! Before the end of each busy day, all children registered in this slope-side location receive a delivery of milk and cookies directly to their suite to be enjoyed by the fire.
Chef Dave Currie takes great pride in baking his special cookies for the kids. He says, “We make the cookies right here in the hotel. I love to try different recipes so the cookies are always a treat, never boring; no matter how long the children stay in the hotel.”
Of course, all guests are always treated to the complimentary Pan Pacific perks during their visit. Slope-side valet storage for skis and boards is available to all guests, as is the eco-friendly PanEarth hybrid shuttle, ready to scoot guests anywhere in the resort. As it should be, there is also no charge for wireless Internet and local calls.
It is all these perks and more that have Pan Pacific Whistler guests smiling from ear to ear.
