ASCENSION PARISH, LA (WAFB) -
Ascension Sheriff's deputies have arrested three people and
are looking for three others as part of Operation No Show.
Chief Criminal Deputy Tony Bacala says the following people
ignored their court dates, leading to bench warrants being issued for their
arrest:
Terry Bercegeay, 30, has been arrested on a felony bench
warrant. He was originally charged with
simple burglary.
Shanna Knox, 22, was arrested and charged with one felony
bench warrant and three misdemeanor bench warrants stemming from charges of
shoplifting, contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, simple battery
disturbing the peace and trespassing.
Jodie Collins, 36, was arrested for skipping a court date
for a felony theft charge.
Authorities are still looking for James E. Prines, 53, for
felony bench warrants for 4th offense DWI, two counts of hit and run, reckless
operation, driving under suspension, public intimidation, and careless
operation.
Samuel Jones Jr., 53, is wanted for failure to appear for four
counts of felony theft and identity theft.
Leonard Siders, 46, is wanted on a felony bench warrant for
theft and possession of drug paraphernalia.
