20+ abandoned cats, half injured in shooting spree

Tonight on 9News at 5:  Several hot-button issues are on the schedule for the Baton Rouge Metro Council tonight, including allegations of animal neglect at Companion Animal Alliance and possible relocation for residents near a water treatment plant.  WAFB's Nick Foley will have a live report at 5.

A local humane society was helping to place more than 20 cats in new homes after their owner moved away, but someone's gone on a shooting spree and wounded at least half of the remaining cats.  WAFB's Jim Shannon will have a full report tonight on 9News at 6.
