One person has died in a crash near Harrisonville, MO, Thursday evening. The crash happened on Missouri Highway 7 and Walker Road. It involved a car and a tractor-trailer. Harrisonville is in Cass County.More >>

PONCHATOULA, LA (WAFB) -
The administration of Ponchatoula High School in Tangipahoa Parish received a report of a gun on campus Wednesday morning.
According to the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office, the school was immediately placed on lockdown and a thorough search was conducted by the sheriff's office.
During the search, the weapon was found and a 15-year-old student was removed from campus. He was arrested and taken to the Florida Parishes Detention Center.
According to the Sheriff's Office, the students handled themselves with patience and maturity. They also say that once the student and the gun were removed from campus, school resumed as normal.
The sheriff's office says all safety measures and procedures were followed to ensure the safety of all on campus.
