ASCENSION PARISH, LA (WAFB) -
The Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office is asking for help in locating a fugitive in connection with a residential burglary in which nearly $30,000 worth of guns and jewelry were stolen.
Shane Medine, 32 , is wanted for the burglary in St. Amant. Detectives already arrested Medine's girlfriend, 18-year-old Amber Gorenflo for her alleged role in the burglary.
The Sheriff's Sex Offender Division also holds an outstanding arrest warrant on Medine for failure to comply with sex offender registration laws.
Anyone with information on Medine is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 344-STOP.
