BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -
A 25-year-old man was killed Friday afternoon in a two vehicle crash on Airline Highway near Pecue Lane.
State Police say Kyle Meyers, 25, was driving south on his motorcycle when a the driver of a Nissan Altima tried to cross the highway, pulling directly into his path.
Meyers, who was wearing a helmet, was thrown from the motorcycle and suffered fatal injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers do not believe either driver was impaired at the time of the crash.
There is no word on whether the driver of the Altima will be charged.
