A 27-year-old man was killed Thursday morning in a crash on LA 442.
State Police say Brandon Lala was driving west on LA 442 about two miles east of I-55 when his pickup cross the eastbound lanes and ran off the road, hit a utility pole and overturned.
According to reports, Lala was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators do not believe Lala was impaired at the time of the crash.
