FLORENCE, AL (WAFF) -
A Florence man was arrested after police said he kicked his girlfriend until her bones broke.
Scott Alan Hawkins is accused of repeatedly kicked her repeatedly causing her to suffer a broken sternum, three broken rib and bruising.
Officials said the incident took place at Hawkins' home and he told people the woman fell.
Hawkins was arrested and charged with domestic violence second degree and assault.
